Darklab PowerBolt II+ from FK Irons offers more power than ever for your rotary tattoo machine!

FK Irons has combined the best elements of the PowerBolt II and PowerBolt+ battery packs in this machine, including extended battery life and a clear display that shows power, battery level, tuning, and a timer function. It also contains a state-of-the-art motherboard that responds to the way you work by sensing and adapting to deliver in real time.

Darklab’s PowerBolt II+ from Darklab contains a lithium-ion battery with a USB-C connection and Dynamic Power-Path Management, allowing simultaneous battery charging and power delivery. It charges quickly via the included USB-C cable, requiring 3 hours for the first charge and 2 hours afterward to deliver 7-8 hours of power, depending on voltage and cartridges used.

In addition to the clear display screen, the PowerBolt II+ has three buttons: one to turn the battery on/off and two to quickly and easily adjust the voltage. Press the up and down arrows to change the voltage in 0.1 or 0.5V increments/decreases from 4 to 12 volts.

The PowerBolt II+ is Bluetooth compatible, allowing artists to pair it with the Darklab app for voice control, future firmware updates, and to enable eGive. You can also pair it with the Darklab Killswitch power switch for ultimate wireless control.

Compatible with all FK Irons wireless gear, including Flux, Flux Max and EXO, this battery pack allows performers to run their rotations wirelessly without the need for cables or power supplies.

The built-in three-button display screen allows artists to view and access the menu, scroll through and adjust settings without using the Darklab app. Menu options include:

• Main Power Display – in Hertz (Hz) or Volts (V)
• Secondary power display – with alternative power unit than the one chosen above
• Voltage setting – display voltage in 0.1 or 0.5V steps
• Footswitch – enable Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity for wireless connection with Darklab
• Killswitch – Killswitch – extended range
• eGive – from level 0 (eGive disabled) to levels 1, 2 and 3 (strong, medium and light hit)
• After adjustment, the unit will sense the tension of the cartridges being used and run an algorithm to ensure that the eGive is consistent with the chosen level.
• Timer – track session time (ideal for artists who load by the hour)
• Screen orientation – select either left or right operation
• Lavigation – “turn off” the machine to make sure it doesn’t accidentally turn on when traveling, especially by air

The PowerBolt II+ offers a voltage range of 4 to 12V, with the ability to run the machine at 4V making it perfect for styles such as stippling.
