FK Irons’ Darklab PowerBolt II from FK Irons presents tattoo artists with a refined user experience, featuring an impressive internal motherboard that boasts the latest technology, plus additional layers of electronic safety protection.
The PowerBolt II features a digital OLED display, designed to provide an intuitive and easy to use experience for an average battery life of 5-6 hours from full. Charge the PowerBolt II in just two hours using the USB-C cable for best results. This wireless battery pack is compatible with Flux, Flux S, Flux Max and EXO tattoo machines and features native Killswitch connection.
The built-in three-button display screen allows artists to view and access the menu, scroll through and adjust settings without using the Darklab app. Menu options include:
- Main Power Display – in Hertz (Hz) or Volts (V)
- Secondary power display – with alternative power unit than the one chosen above
- Voltage setting – display voltage in 0.1 or 0.5V steps
- Footswitch – enable Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connection with your Darklab Killswitch pedal
- eGive – from level 0 (eGive disabled) to levels 1, 2 and 3 (hard, medium and light hit)
- After adjustment, the unit will sense the tension of the cartridges being used and run an algorithm to ensure that the eGive is consistent with the chosen level.
- Timer – track session time (ideal for artists who load by the hour)
- Screen orientation – select either left or right operation
- Lavigation – “turn off” the machine to ensure it doesn’t accidentally turn on when traveling, especially by air
The PowerBolt II offers a voltage range of 4 to 12 V, with the ability to run the machine at 4 V making it perfect for styles such as stippling.
